I'm Beam, 22, final-year computer engineering. I've played board games since high school and there are about forty boxes in my dorm room. I know the board-game cafes around Siam and Ladprao and which one has what. If you've never played, I can teach you anything from a twenty-minute filler to a three-hour campaign. If you already play, come and compete. I play properly and I don't throw games. Arcades too: rhythm games, light-gun games, claw machines. Most people who hire me want to try this but can't get a friend to come, or just moved to Bangkok and don't know anyone yet. Come along. Suki afterwards is optional but recommended.

When Beam is free
Weekdays 15:00–20:30, weekends 11:00–20:30. Closed during exam weeks.
Rate
500baht an hour
2 hours minimum. Most meetups run 3 hours, so 1,500 baht.
Paid to Beam directly at the end of the meetup. No deposit.
Beam's own rules
- Board-game cafes, arcades and cafes only. I don't come to your place to play.
- No gambling, no games for money.
- Done by 20:30. The cafes stay open late; I go home.
- Groups of up to four, including you.
Beam's assistant will say up front if your plan runs into one of these.
